Nestled in the Canadian wilds, Wendigo Toys was formed in 2016 by Andrew Martin and Amanda Bigford. Coming from different artistic backgrounds, they combined forces to produce toys that incorporate both of their strengths and a shared sense of humor.
Wendigo Toys initially came up with the idea for the Balloon Dunny after learning that Kidrobot had acquired the Andy Warhol license. Andrew and Amanda were both admirers of Andy Warhol's work for a long time and thought a Dunny inspired by Warhol’s Silver Cloud would be a natural fit. Thus the Balloon Dunny was born.
